We too got there when the factory was shut and I don't think guards outside were too keen for us to have parked where we did and take photos (see avatar), but we can't speak Italian!! Round the corner is their deliveries entrance - got a good pic there. And the Trident cafe did a nice coffee

We are doing the factory tour in September on the TTP trip. They don’t allow any cars other than Maserati to park there, which is nice, but I am trying to get a dispensation for an Alfa 4C!

When I visited it was when the Spyder version had just been released and there were loads there. The tour guide said we could sit in the cars as they were customers cars yet the man doing the final detailing called the boys over and said sit the.....So some persons brand new 4C Spyder and my two boys bums in the seats before they did.

While you are nearby go to the Umberto Panini Collection

It is basically the Maserati heritage museum that is missing from the factory. It is free to enter and the cars are very well kept
