I have a 2016 GTS from new and I can’t see if the FIAMM battery is AGM or not? I need to recondition the battery but need to know which type and can’t be bother pulling it apart to get it out.

Absorbent Glass Mat

Acid isn't sloshing around in a tank, but well, absorbed in what I guess would be a glass mat :D

If I get one and stick it in the boot, will you help me fit it on Saturday? Although it could be embarassing with a dead car in the middle Brooklands!

Catman speaks the truth. AGM is a construction style. It doesn't matter if a car is stop-start or not. They just tend to use AGM as they are less susceptible to sulphation. Which degrades a battery over time due to sulphuric acid depositing salts (sulphur) on the lead plates diminishing the effectiveness of the battery over time.
Battery reconditioners attempt to break the sulphur build up by 'shocking' the lead plates.

Buy the Exide battery Conaero suggested.

No problem....I'll supervise and provide H&S consultancy! I'll throw a socket set in the boot and some spanners
