F12 - Real world / ownership experience?

Evening
Does anyone have any real world experience of the F12 that they might care to share with me?
I do have a yearning for a V12 and this has always been a favourite of mine. It was the last of the Pininfarina designed Ferraris, is a little smaller than the 599 and being more modern, would hopefully be more reliable than the 575 & 599.
I do love my Stradale which I have owned for over 5 years now, and unless I went for a V12, I would probably keep the Strad as it is a great, great car but I am tempted by a F12. I realise that they cannot be directly compared as they are completely different, not least the price point, but it feels odd owning two Granturismos when they are so many other cars out there to try out.
Thanks all

F12 is absolutely worth it, scary quick and the noise is insane, my brother had one.

Would be interested in buying your Stad if you were to sell.

I’d say the F12 is a big step up from a Strad.
And while I’d expect it to very be reliable, it couldn’t possibly be more reliable than an F550/575, as they are bullet proof. And almost as bullet proof as the Lambo V12 from the Diablo/Murcielago of that era.

I love the F12 and it was nearly where I went when I chose the FF. The back seats, oddness of the design and the fact an FF is about £50k less than an F12 swayed me. I still think it's where I'll go next unless the MC20 shirks a few quid.

I drove a couple of F12s and felt is was a bit wild on the limit. I know that won't worry you, given your other cars and so on, however I do think that it's not a wise first Ferrari for many and has the ability to end up on a hedgerow.

Better looking than the 812, less money, amazing engine. What's not to like?

Better looking that the 812, yes, but still hardly a looker (unfortunately). Too much function-over-form for my liking. A beast of a car none the less.

In Ferrari-Land I’m just waiting for the initial froth to fall from Roma prices. I think that’ll be my next F car.

Cheers Athol, good to hear. And I was thinking about the FF too which is fantastic but I wanted to go for a 2 seater this time

Isn’t that the way with most modern Ferraris….The Roma seems to be the only one moving away from that….

I’ve driven an F12 Berlinetta and absolutely loved it. It felt really solid on the track, quite muscle car-ish. Sounded awesome and the handling and power seemed to get better on every lap, probably because I felt confident to go faster. It really stuck to the road, the aerodynamics are excellent and the bodywork is nice and unfussy.

That's subjective, I really like the F12. Purposeful, no mistaking what it is, but not over embelished with aero and daft ducts. I also like the Roma and enjoyed driving it but I think the v12 would sway me from the turbo, at least until there is no other choice.

Yes I get it but I never really liked their interiors - no doubt I am now the dick in the room!!!
My neighbours already complain when I fire up at 7am on a Sunday in the cold on my V8. :D
