Why is it people can't take their litter home ?
Boils my pîss :(
I would say its a young person thing. We grew up through the 70's were litter was a big problem and were shamed into taking it home.

Refresher course for the young required.

They have to wash the streets of Paris daily as it smells of **** most of the time. In fairness, Venice smells like a sewer on anything representing a warm day.

And is Vettel the most British German ever for helping clear the stands? Well if the crowd was mostly British, who left the litter in the first place? And I doubt he would have stuck a flare up his **** either?

But am I surprised he did this? No, because he is very passionate about the environment. Very similar to the photo of Lando last year helping his mechanics pack up the garage after a race.

Another day when SV showed his limitation as a driver (that spin trying to pass Alonso was not good), but he is a very thoughtful, humorous and in many ways humble (when not giving the finger on the podium or racing Webber) man.

Listen to his interview with Tom Clarkson on Beyond the Grid for some surprising insights to him as a person. Click on the link below and it will play on YouTube or find it on all good podcasters.

I don't care, he gets the humour of "Little Britain" and enjoys nothing more than joining a long queue, that makes him British ;)

More education needed all around then I reckon.
Biggest place I have been to recently was La Rochelle and it was packed and pristine.

As a dog owner what really winds me up is people who pick up their dogs s**t in a plastic bag and leave it in the bag often hanging from a tree branch or fence spike. Fooking thick or what? It’s worse than not picking it up at all. At least if left on the ground it will rot/wash away. Not that I condone not picking it up in the first place.

i saw that on a news story in Sky….Great to see and the only driver that helped I believe.

Seb is a really nice guy, in normal years when he is at Silverstone he parks his motorhome on a friends farm as apparently he hates hotels. One morning she was running around trying to round up goats that escaped from their enclosure, Seb saw her struggling and came out to help, only to fall flat on his face in an extremely muddy field he just got up and carried on herding goats.

Same friends ex. husband was team manager at Jordan / Force India and we use to go round for a BBQ of the Friday of GP weekend where most of the Jordan team were there including the drivers.

Tables were turned this time around. Now it was Lewis with nothing to loose and throwing caution in the wind. Whereas previous years it was Max doing this.

It's always a shame it if hurts one driver so much while the other can continue to win the race. Stop and go penalty would have been a bit more deservering. Still max ends with no points and Lewis would gain quite a few. Max could have just let Lewis go, think long term, championship. When you are ahead you dont need to be aggresive all the time. But that is kinda hard to process when racing at full go i suppose!

But if there would have been no contact, everyone would be applauding the great battle and racing. That is not possible without these incidents. Whilst the celebrating was a bit over the top, the sheer joy (real or not) kinda shows what place Lewis and Mercedes are in right now.

If this would happen at Zandvoort, the other way around, the exact same thing would happen. Max would be all over the place as would the fans. And Hamilton and Toto would be crying out loud. It's all in the game when the competition is this close!

Aren't Formula one drivers just a little bit precious?

If the same incident had happened in a BTCC race it wouldn't even have made the Autosport website.

Man up and get on with your job Max.

It's all mind games. If one team can say that another team have an unfair advantage or should be penalised further they'll say it.

The Hamilton v Verstappen championship race is truly on, and it's going to get fruity.

Yep, that was Definately a shot across the bow of Verstappen from Hamilton. Didn't see that much in the incident myself, he was alongside when they entered the corner so Verstappen definately knew he was there, he'll think twice next time!

I'm not exactly his biggest fan, but I thought the booing was a bit out of order at the end of qually, hopefully just banter.

Absolutely….Just no need for it. Some of this is down to the top brass in Red Bull. Rather than let it lie and concentrate on the next race they have been pushing and pushing with the governing body to have more sanctions for Lewis and it was only a day or two ago they put there last complaint in to no avail. Get over it and move on……Great to see the press conference with Lewis and Max and when Max was asked about the crash and what would happen if they got side by side in the race on Sunday he told them to feck off and they just want to race……Brilliant….

Agreed not a fan of booing of Hamilton, as far as I'm concerned Verstappen turned on Hamilton. Hamilton was pressuring Verstappen by sticking his front wheel where Max wanted to be...it's called racing, you might not be able to overtake but you can make it very difficult for the man in front. Max's impetuosity got the better of him, I'd thought he had grown up or out of that.

As for Red Bull, they seem to imply that the stewards were biased towards Mercedes, which is why the FIA are 'deepely concerned' in their press release. All Mind games.

Toto and Christian will look back at this over a brandy at Christmas and laugh about it...

Well, what a bizarre race so for.....Restart and Lewis was the only one to start on the grid as everyone else went in for tyres on warm up lap....Lewis now last....Mercedes messed that up.

What a brilliant race.....So pleased for Ocon and Alpine.....Ocon drove most of the race in front. Brilliant. Great for Vettal as well....Lewis last to third is just unbelievable and a few more laps he may have won. Ocon drove a faultless race for Alpine..Viva la France...
