What a race, and glad to see all drivers walk away with just mostly bruised ego’s. Hope we can return there next year, as the track is incredible and set in beautiful surroundings. Only issue is access, id imagine with several thousand fans it would be carnage. The F2004 sounded crazy.

Great track and that first corner is a bit do or die but love it, there is something about these less sterile tracks that make for great races - more to come I think with Portimao and Imola still to come

Agree Andy......These newly built sterile tracks just don't do it like the old ones and adding a few tracks like this shows that it can still be exciting.

Outstanding track, loots like somewhere to visit, regretted not getting tickets when I saw the place. Entertaining race just a shame the result wasn't more interesting. Shame for George Russel as well.

Loved the colour on the Ferrari as well but I think Seb has checked out for the rest of the season.......

Its a good track. Fast, flowing and old school gravel traps, none of these massive tarmac runoffs. Much better to reward the drivers that stay on track.

Color = Rosso Mugello! Historic Ferrari color I believe

This gets a bit tiresome. How many generations of people must take responsibility for their forebears cruelty, sins, pure evil? I have known Germans who still feel ashamed of what happened 70-80 years ago. Is it right that today’s generation should still be blamed?
Sorry for banging on, I agree 100% , unfortunately that is not the mindset here, I said that in a like for like sort of way, it wasn't that long ago he was heaping praise on those that tore a statue down, then went on to incite them to tear more down, anyways, pleased to see someone somewhere has seen sense. Now back to F1!
And meanwhile....

It seems Saudi Arabia are in on the F1 circuit for 10 years or so.
Will Lewis sport a suitable T shirt about human rights and spout off?
The proposed Newcastle United take over by Saudi fell through because of their (Saudi) appalling HR record.

No it didn't. It was likely because the Big 6, calling themselves Project Big Picture, are trying to financially support the rest of the league in exchange for preferential treatment and ability to interfere in some of the key areas currently governed by the FA. One of those areas is deciding who is able to buy any of the member clubs. It is probable that Mark Burrows and the FA knew about this plan and the delays in deciding on the proposed Saudi ownership, plus the lack of transparency since the decision, points to the Big 6 and the FA conspiring to keep the biggest pockets of them all away from their cash cow. So much so, that several parties have appointed big time QCs to take the FA to task on this.

I'm sorry to say that the FA, just like F1, don't give a s**t about anything that the Saudis are alleged to have done in their own country. They only care about money and power and the Saudis pose a threat so powerful that the other owners, perhaps Man City's Shiekh Mansour aside, don't want them in their profit machine.

Ask me how I know. I won't tell you.

Well the Newcastle bid was portrayed as not consistent with Human Rights certainly here in my neck of the woods.
I agree though there is also a lot of truth in what you say.
My point really was what will F1 and the drivers do (if anything)?

WOW what a qualifying. First time Mercedes has been on the 3rd row of the grid and 5th row for a long time. Well done Stroll for his first pole position.
