Massive thankyou to Zep for putting up with me for 2 days, and helping me change my manifolds over from US to Eurospec last week. I now have Larini sports cats in the secondary’s, and after a few hours of cursing and swearing yesterday, now have a Benny X pipe to replace my Larini H pipe. Car sounds pretty incredible now, though i am tempted by the modified rear boxes, I worry they will be a little too loud. Very happy forum member, and the community play a big part in that, so thanks Zep, and everyone else.

Larini H pipe going up for sale shortly

What difference do you find between the H and the X? I'm still considering an H as I want a deeper tone to the exhaust on my GTS.

X pipe = Ferrari
H pipe = Nascar

Thats how I have always described it. X being a higher pitched sound, H being lower and more guttural.

Let’s see a few pics of the job / struggles!
Great work to do that yourself

I don't want my Maserati sounding like an American car.
X pipe for me.
Though I do have the Stag that burbles nicely, with a factory H!

Sorry GP but no pics were taken during the work. Getting the old manifolds out, and new ones in was a slight issue, but eventually we got there.
