exhaust clamps

Any one had the three bolt flanges that hold the back boxes on the 3200 in place rust away to nothing? The exhaust and the back boxes are stainless and they are in reasonable condition but the two flanges were clearly mild steel and are now cheese.
i am thinking of some sort of straddle clamp arrangement to get round this, since the exhaust is quite serviceable, just wondering if anyone else had this problem before and has a worked out solution!

When I had my Larini back boxes installed on the 3200 I remember Matthew at Giallo said some of the flanges were rotten and replacements not be sourced, however he had a workaround. You could send him a note to see what he did.
