Nothing new other than confirming :

Starting in late 2020, Maserati will commence production of its all-new petrol-powered super sports car based on the Alfieri concept shown way back in 2014. This model will be built in Modena alongside an update to Maserati’s central plant to facilitate the new model, including a new paint shop.

I like the sound of Maserati being the “luxury flagship brand” within the group. A petrol halo/supercar, an electric coupe and cab, and a mid sized SUV - sounds like a good line up.

Weird thing is the luxury flagship brand sells more than Alfa, we’re all a bit doom and gloom, but by their standards they’ve had a really good couple of years. It’s noticeable on the road, I’ve not seen one of the Alfa 4x4s and only 2 of the Guilias yet see quite a few new gen Maseratis and although I don’t particularly like the Ghibli 3 shape I think they’re a proper alternative to a 5 series especially used. I hope that the future product plan doesn’t scupper their recent success by overreaching like Aston seem to have.

You've raised my awareness, I would have expected to have seen more QV Stelvios than Levantes, as they're similar in performance but the Alfa being considerably cheaper. According to How Many Left there's 2246 Stelvios against 1871 Levantes. Consider that Range Rover Sports SVR number 2.3k.

Why do you think the journos say the new coupe is based on the Alfieri concept when the engine has moved and there is now a carbon tub? It's like saying a 488 is based on the F12.
