Check the credit card that you're using doesn't charge you fees for foreign transactions. I've just been checking mine as the one I used for foreign travel is being withdrawn (JAJA). I am in the process of "downgrading" my other ones as the the only thing "platinum" on the cards is the fees that they want to charge you!

There’s nothing more amusing than hurtling past your fellow travellers tiddling about with a credit card at the tolls.
... nor more satisfying than not having to get out of the car without bashing your door on a 5-ton block of rough-as-ar5es concrete, walk around to the passenger side and then tiddle about with a credit card (or a human person in a box) and then get back in (careful with that door again!) before finally being able to continue your journey.

Chase is great for no forex fees, plus they also give a fairly competitive conversion rate anyway. It's debit not credit, but saves money.

Years ago as a student we went the alps moutain biking ina berlongo van. My friend with no sleep hit the concrete and instantly blew the tyre, the lady got quite a shock in the booth. We limped out of the toll.booth then spent 90 minutes taki g turns kicking the rusted spare wheel strap ( spare under the car)...

James has that down to a tee. He has a litter pick grabber in the car to pull the tickets. Not sure if he tried paying the same way or got out though.

Lumbering old thing. The car was no better.

Now, where's @outrun when we're busy taking the pish?

Just catching up. As usual.

The FF wasn't that fast to 60, combine that with my hesitation and you have a poor performance. Where it was fast was up past 100mph where I don't think there is much that would keep up. The clever 4wd system took a wee second to really grab so I suspect the V12s actually has a faster 0-60 time. You can see this with the GTC4Lusso where the v8t version has the same 0-60 as the v12, mainly as the T is rear wheel drive. But the v12 has a 10mph higher top speed as the grunt becomes more important as the speed increases.
