No creativity from either team, Scotland played to contain and England could find no way through not the best game by far

Can’t agree more, the streets of London were a complete mess last night with no resepct for others, property of the risks posed by this pandemic.
Government is looking at ways to ensure Euro matches stay here and are not moved to to somewhere with fewer restrictions such as Hungary.
After last night they can and should be moved its a ‘kin disgrace.
Hang on.
Have they closed the tubes then.,,,,since feb last year?
All those folk in a combined space at rush hour?
F’kin disgrace it’s still open isn’t it......

I think yesterday might have, accidentally, been the largest anti-lockdown protest we've seen.

Everyone's view will vary, but I would be in support such a lockdown protest.

As for the football,
Two average teams meet, tactics are extremely Conservative, the result is a very dull match
It couldn't have been further away from Gazza, Shearer, Merson and co
One average team and England .

And everyone on the tube is required to social distance and wear face masks, or very likely to face a fine.
A good friend of mine ended up shutting his bar last night as no one (football fans) would follow the rules and he was then vulnerable to being closed down by the council and or a large fine.
The football crowds were having a great time but not playing by the rules and because the crowd were so large no one could or would enforce them.
I won’t mention the f-kin mess or broken bottles and rubbish left everywhere and s-h-i-t left in doorways and I mean some took a dump in shop doorways.
Yes that’s ‘kin disgusting in my book

Really.
In rush hour, everyone socially distances ?
exactly how stupid do u think I am.
football crowds having a good time- appalling.
Who’d have thought such dangerous behavior would happen.... and they weren’t following rules!

Was just perusing the news and read this rubbish....
2 England players are self isolating because of close contact with a Scottish player....
However, none of the Scots team or staff have too..
It’s barmy....and I’m not saying the Scots should be.
Common sense has left the building...

It does show how bad England played if only 2 players got anywhere near Billy Gillmore !

That was initial thought....but apparently they had a 1 minute chat less than 1m apart after game....
As opposed to the 2 guys who stood shoulder to shoulder with him in the line ups; anthems..

Yup...that’s science........the entire Scottish team should have been pulled out of the tournament if the same rules everyone else has has to abide by for the last year + had been applied.

Quite simply two different managerial risk appetites.

The Scottish team knew that they only had one last fixture to fulfill, whereas the English team took precautions as they're in it for the long haul.
