In one final attempt to get fuel for my daughters car so she can be sure to get to work I did a round robin of 8 petrol stations in the area at 7am this morning.
No fuel of any type an any of them, I should have panicked on Friday along with everyone else

So later I will be siphoning fuel from the TR6 - ‘kin ridiculous situation.

I will be away, but my son will take the TR6 to work on Tuesday is he can’t get diesel tomorrow.

Am sure things will settle down early in the week

It'll be fine in a day or two I would think. Think of all those people that would normally put £20 in for their weekly pottering around to the shops and school run, now they've got full tanks they won't need to go again for another 3 weeks lol

Wife off to pick up the weekly shop this morning, no doubt she will fill the BMW whilst there

Presumably if everyone is driving around with 3/4 tank, rather than 1/4 of a tank, due to panic buying, that means that demand has temporarily doubled. Leading to shortages. Leading to panic buying.....

Nice idea...except with E10 widespread since the start of the month, they'll find water in their tanks as they fail to drain them faster than it goes off...!:D
