Trying to work out if the bodywork was mullered, previously wrapped or just frost:

Not the best looking MOT history though suggesting a buy-cheap-not-maintain owner.

Certainly looks like a wrap pulled the lacquer off. Maybe they pulled it off without the use of a heat gun.

Car is in NI, so maybe? First registered in 2008, but first recorded with DVLA in December 2020. That's a bit odd too.

Wow there was a time when we thought they were cheap at double those prices.
As time goes by the red interior just gets nicer for my taste.

They sold a lot more GranTurismos with the help of PCP finance you can expect a lot of the 4.2s to disappear into oblivion

Would be interesting to see how much a well kept low mileage early 4.2 is worth in 5/10/20 years.

I dont know what the general consensus is but I don’t like the early 4.2 at all. I feel this car benefits from the later modes the most.

I have seen the posts. It is very likely the case for sure.

In 10-15 years time when an individual is looking to buy one of these as a "young timer" some may find the younger model more desirable over the revised version that has had lip/cheek fillers, a face lift and various implants.

Different strokes for different folks? I quite like the front end on the pre-facelift GT it is aging very nicely.
