That one turns itself off, though.

Maybe I didn't leave mine long enough to reset. Once it had come on I had to get a dealer to reset it (was driving past and popped in, they kindly reset it for me). That was >12m ago and not come back on since thankfully.

Interesting. Unless the switch fails totally it'll reset each time you restart.

So if it came on again, fitting a new switch should then mean it resets hopefully. That is good to know, the switch cast about £30 I seem to remember when I looked it up. Thanks for the info.

Initial release in the coming months.

Thanks for your offer , we may get back to you for separate testing on a QP. The reason being QP support will be slightly less than others as Maserati decided to do some unique communication architecture on the QP.

Thanks for the offer but we have a Beta Tester with an Auto -which seems to be the most needed diagnostic.

Thanks again.

The first release of EasyMAS will be without write functions.

To help us look into this what is needed ??

Detail is needed :- The function required , the info required , why and any difference between vehicles / MY

I'd have thought setting the PIS point and resetting the clutch wear index would be the most useful write functions.

..... we will sell the system at a 3 month introductory offer to forum members at £395, free updates, free worldwide shipping and 3 year warranty on the hardware. Our Web store price will be £495 from the date of release.
Hi Steve, do you have any update on availability and likely cost?

Hi ,

We are just finalising the first setup to sell.

There will be options :-

1.
Read only hardware and software for F1 gearbox , Skyhook , Steering , Engine OBDII.
These are done and ready to go. Free updates will be worked on and hoping to add Engine Enhanced , Airbag , Instrument Cluster and ABS. Ideal for any owner / buyer to diagnose these normally mystical systems.
This cost will be around £400 to £650 depending on USB , Bluetooth and bundle with Windows Tablet. This will be intro price for 1-3 months then rising to around £450 to £750.
When this goes on sell we will list compatible years and models - expecting most M138 , M139 and M145's.
Release expected late Jan / Feb 2020.

2.
Read , Write version with sort after functions. This will be costed higher with possible extra charge / subscription for upgrades as for use by repair shops due to the requirement for procedures to be carried as per manufacturers service documentation for safety and prevention of damage to vehicle systems if used incorrectly.
Release date / cost TBA - update in 2020.

Take some time to look back over previous posts for example software screenshots.

Will update as we go.

Thanks for updating - I'm sure there will be many who have followed the thread from the start and your progress.
The thread had gone quiet though and I was wondering what stage you had reached.
Hats off to you for your abilities and for the undoubted effort and patience getting so far.

Thanks for your comments , it's not been an easy task but we are now confident that an affordable solution can be offered to aftermarket owners.

Couple of questions....

1. Will the 1. version allow resetting of oil change spanner?

2. I take it then that us ordinaries will not be able to do our own clutches etc?
