Back home in Laval.
550 miles done today me in the Boxster and Ms French in the Jaguar.
Well and truly worn out.
All done legally as we insured the car from here in France.

Do French insurance companies look kindly on RHDs in France.
I’d be quite interested in know if they charge you a significantly higher premium.

I did notice sportscars are much more expensive to insure in France. If I had to insurance mine in France they would have been at least 2x the price

Things can be difficult here in France for sure but we have a great broker here in Laval and the insurance is costing £350 fully comp and I'm quite happy with that no more expensive than the Jaguar XF.

One of my favourite pratting about cars was my 309 GTI back in the late 90'S.

Loving the Boxster its perfect Summer car for driving around France.
Looks Good with more than enough power and sounds good too.

Can’t remember the last time I saw a 309 over here.

We had them as Panda cars when I was in Kent Police... fell apart well before year 2.

Still they had a turn of speed down the lanes around West Malling. At the time I had an Audi 200 Turbo which was far better screwed together.

However I love driving in France and coming across old Renaultsl Citroën and Peugeots.

Glad you’re enjoying it.

Its great to have a convertible again but I’m not convinced by the engine in my e93 M3, yes it’s a v8 that revs to 8k but there’s no torque in the mid and low range
