Following on from the feedback received from Maserati Customer Care for the older cars, they have just confirmed to me that the QPV/Granturismo/Grancabrio are all compatible with E10 as below:

Regarding your inquiry we would like to inform you that while always recommending the use of the fuel indicated in the Use and Maintenance Manual, the vehicles you have mentioned below, if Maserati EU5 Homologation, are compatible with the use of E10 fuel.

Thanks, still think I will fill it with Super Unleaded before winter SORN but regular will be fine otherwise.

Our XC60 will be on unleaded E5 or E10 whatever is the cheapest petrol, but the TR6, QPV and XM will all be on VMax

Ironically Tesco Momento is E5

I believe all the forecourt premium or super unleaded petrols will be E5 still, it's just the 95ron that's changing.

I'll continue using Tesco momentum on all our cars, like I have since the day it was introduced.
Always performed very well on all my standard and highly modified cars with zero issues, and seems to return better mpg even in the wife's normal cars.

Also a bonus is that the club card points earned from the petrol each year, pays for the full bifter annual RAC cover.

What does EU5 Homologation mean? Sorry if this is a daft question.
