It is the emissions standard to which the cars are homologated to by the factory. What they are saying is that they are all EU5 and so ok.
Hi, I’m currently researching for a Grancabrio later this year. What keeps coming up is that most early GC’s are EU4. I think EU 5 standards came in during 2009. So I’m thinking that Maserati may be saying that E10 would be ok in later models. It’d be nice if they were specific by model year. Totally agree with others on here about using E5 anyway, but I’d like to use the car touring Europe so want to be sure….

From my perspective, they said EU4 coupe/spyder were ok with E10. I find it difficult to believe that an EU4 GT / GC isn’t. Especially for occasional use.

You won’t find a GC built before 2010, so it’s only early GT’s that might have an issue if EU5 was mandatory from 2009

Yeah, that seems very likely for someone to put their company name to.......where's the audit trail to show that this was V-Power in the tank, or even that it came from an actual failed car.

Before we even start thinking about why they are calling it Gasoline.....

Down here in the deepest south, Sussex, we have a few "Power" service stations which I believe get their fuel from "Local Fuels". We used their 95 Ron in a 2 stroke motor glider as the fuel had to be tested and Ethanol free. I still get all my garden mower fuel from them and recently was assured that their 95 Ron fuel is still ethanol free due to limitations at their refinery.
