I get in the car for likely it's last outing this year. After filling with fuel, it spat out a CEL on restarting the engine...! :D

Can I get some help with
P1540 - IIRC, AC over filled or something ?
P2187 (too lean idle bank 1 ?)

Grtzz...

Second one is either lambda sensor or more likely leaky MAF. I had that one, ended up WD40’ing the MAF and reconnecting everything, never had it since.

Have suspected the MAF sensor since I had the car- it was overfilled with oil (pretty common thing I think) but the sensor was dry and clean...!
Do you mean WD40 on the connectors, or the sensor itself...? I understand the MAF is a pretty fragile/sensitive thing...
Turning the key elicits a varied response from the engine too...sometimes a rush of revs, other times less...even at times so low it feels like it might stall..! I wonder if I should replace the MAF sensor....?
Thanks for the input !

just had this as well, the rubber had split where the pipe back to the oil tank fits. Couldn’t see it until it was removed. Replaced the air flow meter at the same time (covered in oil debris) and now have an extra 70bhp. The throttle response from low revs is so much better.

Hi all as stupid as it sounds I over filled my QP as click never sounded as I held the pump at an angle. I assumed it would click no matter how you held pump.

Anyways now my issue is car doesn't start straight away after every time i refuel.

In order for me to get it started I have to press accelerator repeatedly almost like when battery is dead on a car.

Battery is however new.

I've plugged in my obd device and comes up with this error code in picture.

Any ideas what the issue may be as i 100% know it was caused from over filling as never had this problem before. Screenshot_20181114-162454_Video Player.jpg

Nothing to do with overfuelling I'd have thought (although I've been wrong before!).

Either there's a fuel flow issue or one of your lambdas on bank one is shot at a guess

You should be able to check fuel pressure at the rails.
