Does anyone know this dealer?

If he’s doing the exporting and paying you in Krona there shouldn’t be an issue. I sold my BMW to Holland a couple of years ago and a Land Rover to Germany before that. No harder for me than selling to someone here.

It’s quite convoluted to export from Sweden as I so far understand. The buyer has to apply for temporary plates, the seller has to send in the originals, then the buyer has 30 days to register in another country.

Not really any different from here except you fill in the export sheet rather than send off the plates. You only usually need temp plates if it’s being driven, if they’re trailering it, no need.

I found it to be a very easy process buying a car in Belgium and importing it to France last year on temporary export plates.
Can't see it being harder for you to sell to a German.

Here it takes two weeks to get the temporary plates. Is that what you experienced?
