Also worth noting that tyres this size tend not to be kept in stock by Kwik-Fit* etc - most tyre dealers will need to order them in. And the cars don't have a spare, just a repair kit and air pump.

I've mentioned before on this forum but maybe worth doing so again: I get the recommended Pirelli P Zeros for my QP with 20 inch wheels from Kwik Fit, and plan to again - would certainly recommend my local branch (Oxford city centre). Both times they obtained the tyres within 24 hours, fitted carefully and took the trouble to show me how they were protecting the alloys against scratches, and offered me a much better price than anywhere else - it appears they give a very good discount to loyal customers, and am certainly one since I have used them for 20 years for various vehicles. I've been told before that they have the best discount with Pirelli, and I can believe that. More knowledgeable than you might think, gave me some good advice re tracking and camber which was endorsed by Migliore when I took it there. And more to the point put me right about some b.s. information I had been given re tyres by a main dealer....

Thanks Norman - then I gladly retract my previous comment. Can't tar all Kwik-Fit branches with the same brush. My local one was hopeless when I tried to get a set of rears for my XFR a couple of years ago and I haven't been back since. Shame I don't live closer to Oxford!

Kwik Fit branches differ a lot. Some are brilliant.
