I’d been through the “new battery” and “trickle charger” method, waiting until all warning lights going off before starting etc etc, but the car finally let me know what the issue was by triggering the ABS whilst coming up to a red traffic light at about 15mph. Lots of noise from control unit and absolutely no retardation whatsoever. Happily nothing was in the way. So, £1,000 later I’ve got a new hub/ speed sensor on the front left. Was pretty ****** off with the car TBH, and had been browsing through classifieds, but then got it back, saw it, and that’s stopped.
Thanks to Giallo in Tonbridge for fitting me in at short notice and doing the usual efficient job. 71356

Glad you are sorted, I felt exactly the same when mine did the same thing - Matt & Ash got me sorted, soon fell in love again after an afternoon hooning around.

Had the same on MCV and one of the QP V's.

That is one very handsome GT you have there, so you can stop browsing Pistonheads.

Thing is we all do it. It’s an addiction. I was looking at Loti last night. There are a pair of pre-reg Elise 220s at the the dealer in NI with big discounts. Don’t need one but it takes me back to the old days when I used to drive around in winter in my 340R.

My old QP did exactly the same thing, front nearside hub. From recollection the new integrated hub assembly was £637+VAT the rest being labour. Think it was a 2 hour job costing around £1100 2 years ago..

That is one magnificent colour combo. I suppose first world lifestyle will attract some first world problems. I could forgive that car the occasional misfit.

What do you mean Again?

Are the birds not complying with your explicit directives?!

If you insist on parking beneath recalcitrant birds.... You should've opted for fuji white.

I really think my shade of blue attracts them, just like the yellow TR7 in Detectorists attracted insects...
