So whilst not an immediate job, I will be getting the heater matrix done in the near future which obviously is a complete dash out job.
So what else would you choose to do at the same time?
Some thoughts are:
1. Remove the tracker
2. Have all sticky buttons refurbished
3. Replace centre vents and chrome rings or paint the same and the side vents to match 4. below
4. Paint/wrap NIT cover, reverse lever assembly, radio surround, steering wheel surround, door trim pieces in either a matte-ish black or carbon fibre or possibly to match the exterior paint
5. Alcantara dash and possibly the armrest above the NIT unit
6. Install bluetooth for music from the NIT centre console (what is the best option here?)
Generally the leather in the car is in good condition which makes me less inclined to do 5.
The centre vents are in a dreadful state. As I understand it, the vents can be taken out leaving the chrome surround which can only be removed with the dash out. The chrome is already flaking and I do not want to replace with new vents only for those to get messed up as well hence why I am thinking of taking the vents out, removing the soft rubber coating and painting or wrapping.
The roof lining and visors are cloth to match the colour of the leather and are in generally good condition also.
The silver plastic trim pieces, especially the NIT centre console, have some rub marks so not pristine condition.
Attached is a photo of the interior currently.
Thoughts on the above or alternative suggestions/additions welcomed.
