Daily coating of yellowish 'dust'

Has anyone else noticed this?

My car lives outside and I drive it daily, but this isn't traffic grime. Each morning there's a fine coating, which is slightly yellowish in colour. The drive to work shifts much of it, but come midday there's a new coating that's settled.

If this is particulates in the air, which it must be, then it must certainly be getting to the air filter. Anyone had theirs out recently?

I guess there's a good chance this is the continuing Icelandic fallout, but it would be interesting to hear who's being affected, and where you are?
