Im going to get a trickle charger as my neighbour has moved out and selfishly took his :) Stupid Park off brake thing on, popping up with ABS out and usual electronic warnings for nothing

Which CTek do I need or will do ?

This seems the daddy and the one my neighbour had - ctek mxs 5.0 but is that required ? Im going to get cigarette lighter component as easier to plug in the boot and it works a treat.

I bought one of those cheap Aldi chargers, 14 quid I think, when I was in the UK last year. It has a LCD display, and I think made by Ctek. Works a dream.

I believe the Aldi one being made by CTEK was a rumour that proved to be false, but plenty of people on various car forums recommend them highly, and they seem to be very reliable either way.

I used a Maserati branded CTEK, but only because it came with my car. From previous threads, there are at least 2 varieties of branded ones as mine has more lights than another members does.

Beside that, my Elise lives on an Oxford Oximiser 900, and I have a 2nd that I've used on cars prior to getting the Maserati. Both still going strong for 6+ years, and not killed a battery so I can recommend them too.

2 x Cteks here, had 8 years and 6 years. Only know issue is the selector button, if your model has it, can get a bit intermittent.

I have 15 MXS 5.0 they do what they say on the tin. Customer service is also good, I have had two go down both replaced free of charge with no quibble, so more than happy to recommend them.
