CTEK advice please

I have recently purchased a CTEK mxs5 battery conditioner to use on my 4200 CC. I was just about to try it out when it suddenly ocurred to me. Do I need to have the battery isolater switch off or doesn't it make any difference? Any help much appreciated.

I have used a ctek for some time and always leave it connected no problems .cheers rob

I’ve never turned my isolator switch off.

Me too. I just bolted it to the terminals on the battery and there it stays.

Thats what I do, once the cables are connected it is a simple job to connect and disconnect the Ctek when necessary

I actually turned my isolater switch off over the winter and when I turned it back on the locks and alarm went awol for a few seconds and sorted themselves with a few openings/shuttings/lockings/unlocking of the door........... I guess it doesn't matter then!
