If over a certain percentage of the worker nodes reach a consensus transactions have the potential to be reverse but they can't really be shut down, anyone has the ability to transact with blockchains or run the protocol.

The Hooter's ones are ;)
They are seasonally adjusted due to the application of lifting bra's, but even these have the potential to reverse, when completely revealed! Anyone has the ability to transact with blockboobs or run the protocol but it always ends up in disappointment and a sticky mess, followed by guilt...

I'm going to be in Amsterdam tomorrow; I hear that tulip bulbs are a great investment with returns of over 20%. Should I invest?
Incredible!! Did I just slip through a time-hole? I read that post every single day in 2017 while my bitcoin ran up 1000% profit. Haven't read it for a good few years though now. Ta for the nostalgia.

Has anyone tried Helium mining?

I'm debating on whether to give it a go, it's a £500 outlay on a miner and breakeven seems to vary wildly depending on where you are located. Anything from 3 months to 5yrs!

For those that have no idea what I just asked - I apologise :)

Yes, I have two Helium miners. The one on a hill at my Mother’s house is doing well but mine in the suburbs isn’t earning much. At present I’m just using the standard 4dbi antennas positioned in 1st floor windows but I’m just about to try a high-quality 6dbi antenna mounted externally at the top of my chimney. The miner immediately adjacent to me is earning $100 a month, so I’m looking forward to the improvement. Will report back.

You can check how much any miner is earning using Helium Explorer:
