Coupe prices - what's happening?

When I was working for Auckland Maserati in Newmarket back then we brought some new old stock over from Singapore and put on the road.
I wonder if that was one I can remember a GS and a 3200.

There were a few came out of a bankcrupt dealer in Singapore. Somewhere between 2014 and 2015. A few were imported into the UK.

Edit.

Just had a search on google. It was a company called Opus Prime and a sub company called Hawkswood. 12 cars in total they will have been MY2006 to MY2008 cars i suspect. If i remember right they were tied up in court cases for several years before being sold in 2014/2015

There is a thread on here somewhere about it and some pictures of some of the cars i think.

Its always amusing to see cars described as 4200 GT Cambiocorsa or Spyder GT Cambiocorsa, it’s one or the other, it can’t be both:
3 pedal manual = Coupe GT/Spyder GT
Robotised manual = Coupe Cambiocorsa/Spyder Cambiocorsa

That one is NZ new. Couple of others ex Singapore up for sale. Humidity and Italian electrics are rumored to be an especially bad mix.

Yellow: wouldn't choose myself but can appreciate it, but in combo with the green interior and black wheels? It's a bit too much. Does however somehow remind of me of a Lotus.

Prices over here are indeed nice, although I am jealous of what you could buy for the money on the other side of the moat. If only these guys would drive on the right side of the road. What a joy that could have been looking e.g. at Grantourismo for that money. Might have considered owning 2 Masses.

Reminds me of a liquorice all-sorts James.
You're right on the variation in prices between the UK and over here I follow them daily it's bizarre how low they are in the UK but RHD here is just no good anymore and on resale the market is hard I won't be doing it again.
For what I've just paid for my 45 years old BMW E24 I could have got in the UK a 3200, 4200 and a QPV and have a war chest.

I know, I mean come on, it's as if their undeserved reputation precedes them, an OBD compliant 2001 Auto with 32k on the clock....
