Why TF did I even think watching that would be good?
When I lived in Denmark my flatmate wouldn't let me get any. Apparently it's banned in blocks of flats and on planes....

The other flatmate - an Icelander say they eat rotting shark meat that's been buried in ice for like ages and ages.....

I've bought a 22U server rack to rack and test a load of SPARC and POWER servers I've been meaning to shift but had no time. £300 should get me £2k back, 24TB SAN in there.....

My daughter wants a Daschund.....
Been while since I worked on SPARC systems, need a hand? More satisfying than Linux and ansible

Always welcome! When I get 'em, racked I'll give you root, cos there'll be nowt on them. Got about three or four T5220's and a T5240 with a whopping 128gb (I think). IBM POWER6 has 96gb, and I have an HMC, and also just remembered I have a HP Integrity RX6600 specced to the max - HP-UX with HPvM running VMS, Redhat and a Windows instance I think.

Are you still in central London? What's the parking like ATM? I'm heading in on Friday to donate blood and get re-tested for platelets. Was intending to drive in.

Good man. My local place is Luton and parking charges suspended here, so hope the same for you. One thing I can go out to do during lockdown and turns out only need to wait a few weeks between platelet donations. :D

Nearest (and soonest appt to donate) to here is Margaret St. I used to do it it Tooting when I was working in Clapham.

I don't mind paying the parking, just want to get a feel of if the Soho car park will have spaces.....

T-5's are pretty good but LDOMs or whatever they are called now are no match for IBM LPAR's....

When I was in the Nuclear industry, VMS was the OS of choice, still none better, back in 1995 we had bootable network CD's, cluster between our two power stations 76 miles apart (over a 64k kilostream), M$ brought their cluster out about then, servers could be up to several feet apart!

The NCP? That always has spaces! Faiing that, try the one under Bloomsbury Sq., or the Q-Park on Park Lane. Margaret St is about equidistant from both.

Or, now I come to think of it, there's a car park under Hanover Sq as well which is pretty good. You might get dizzy circling down into the bowels of h3ll, though.

Bought a football, for a kick about with Mrs MLC and seeing if I can get up to 100 at keepie-uppie. Hopefully, by the end of this month I'll be turning out for Chilworth City. (they recently signed the Invisible Striker from fulchester)

Past skills, never been good at keepie uppie but after a bit of practise I can now do a wheelie from the gate to the garage and I can get the skateboard to go roughly in the right direction

On account of all the barbers all being closed, I went to the e-shops to buy some hair clippers. As all the ones that look half decent are sold out, I have now saved not only the cost of at least one haircut, but also the cost of some clippers. On the downside, if this carries on much longer I'll start to look like a shite tribute act for a pi55-poor 80s rock band. And I won't even have a pub to gig in.

I never was any good at football.

That sounds a lot like me. No interest in football, hair getting too long and no gigs to play with my Bass, so:

1) No football on the telly is a positive for me. Watched "School For Scoundrels" with Terry Thomas on BBC 2 yesterday. He reminds me of my long-departed Dad, and the "Bellini" car he drives is an AM DB3S with a strange fin on the boot. Its "Man in the White Suit" with Alec Guinness today.

2) Managed to get a set of Whal clippers plus the various length combs off the internet for about £15. My wife had a go with the Number 4 and after a few goes with shorter combs around the neck and ears, it looks half decent!

3) Have managed to do 3 "virtual jams" with my bandmates practicing some new songs for when we are let out. Doobie Brothers "long train running" was fun for me as a great bass line. Drums just didn't work well this way and drowned the rest out, so drummer on percussion and rest of us playing with amps down low. Got better the more beer we drank!

Oohh wheelies on the pushbike... might see if I can do that in the back garden...it's not as though A&E are busy these days...
