Corona Convoy....?

So - we can’t get out of the cars, but empty roads do suggest we could at least meet and drive somewhere - wave to each other through windscreens....oh and bring our own coffee/tea....

I thought the other day about that. But if we aren’t supposed to interact then not a lot of point. All it would do is anger someone who’d track us back to here and blurt to the daily mail that we are overtly flouting the social distancing laws.

I went for a fabulous 90 min drive yesterday around the lanes of Surrey and West Sussex... I figured I was still socially distancing, and I needed to get out the house...

Yes, unless roads are locked down which is a distinct possibility, until they are that’s grand, I’m going to head out today, just don’t think a convoy is a good idea.

There will be plenty of this going on , admit its crossed my mind and Missus CB , Anne Frank never had these problems bless her, stuck inside playing endless scrabble staring at that trident emblem on the drive

agree with you re a convoy - it would make us look like a bunch of selfish idiots

there were definitely a few others doing the same thing yesterday...

Interesting do I tax the Maser next month?
At the moment the way things are going, probably not.
See how it goes.

There’s a massive amount of whole groups of Bradley Wiggins wannabes around here on the roads these days plus large groups of bikers speeding past our house who are clearly all out enjoying the relatively empty roads. Not much sign of self isolation..

not suggesting we get out of the cars - so it would comply....but clearly no appetite so will go for a drive on my own

I went out on the bike yesterday and will be taking the GT out for a blitz today.

And probably the TR tomorrow.

I'm loving the empty roads.

Must admit I have taken to nipping put for the odd hour on the deserted lanes around County Wexford, me and a Fulvia or an SZ heaven.

However I quite often see close groups of Bradley Wiggins look alikes doing their thing together.

I had a nice drive out into the Dales yesterday, didn't stop, didn't talk to anyone. Doing less social interaction than all the cyclists and walkers I saw.

Might go out for a run around the Cheshire lanes later. Just have to avoid all the cyclists, went for a walk earlier and they’re everywhere

My insurance on the mustang is due 14th april , I'm probably going to get laid up cover until this is over , can't see me just driving round in circles with nowhere to go , might as well do it in the SLK with the roof off if we're not confined to quarters

Can't see me taxing much this month. Maybe the Outlander and Alfa only. The TVR needs new MOT this month but may need to wait. The rest can be rested for a month I think.

I was out cycling today. On my own. I must have encountered another dozen souls. Also on their own. My cycling club has banned organised rides through our Strava page.
I did see a group of 6 yesterday. And they weren’t implementing triathlon rules.
