Hi,just thinking of putting the 3200 back on the road and i have no throttle responce at all.i have tried several reset procedures to no avail, the throttle body was repaired several years back but has done little work since so suspecting the throttle potentiometer,as the readings from it are slightly lower than required,
i read a while back on here that one of our members was doing a contactless potentiometer,is he still around and doing them ?or has anybody any experience of the ones that are currently on offer on ebay ?

I’ve had one of Davy’s pots on mine for about five years now. Never had an issue since fitting. Well worth it and a good upgrade. May be my imagination, but it also tamed the throttle response a little too.

I can say the same, I've had no trouble with the tb circuit, Davy's pedal pot and a reworked tb from David Askew, contact Davy on here , he used to offer a discounted price from the eBay listing.

Bit late with my comment on this one but I cannot praise Davy's pot enough. Before, my car was dangerous & undriveable. Sometimes the revs would rise uncontrollably to maximum or sometimes they would rise lethargically or not at all. On a couple of occasions I went to overtake only to find myself just sitting on the wrong side of the road with oncoming traffic. On another trip, I had to drive on the brakes all the way home.
Being a pessimist I did not imagine that one single component could be the cause of so much trouble. But it was.
Fitting is bad on the back & neck but otherwise it was easy to both fit & adjust. & what a transformation. No crazy revs, excellent throttle response & kicking down when I want it to rather than when it feels like it.
I have to say that this mod, together with fitting a new grey interior & rechromed nuts, now means that I once again prefer my 3200 to my 4200.
Well done Davy.
