I've tried to reassure him, this car has had so much done under his and previous ownership.

Subframes refurbished and car undercoated
Springs
Clutch
Discs and pads
Head lining
Sticky buttons on radio
Full respray (brake fluid dripped on it when at a workshop)
New speakers
Stainless steel exhaust 200 cats (with x pipe I believe)

Etc etc

It's been a labour of love. I hope I can do it justice over my ownership, hopefully with not too many curve balls thrown my way!

First step, service with shiltech (I think) to be booked in.

The paint is so good it's worthy of ppf, I just wish I had the funds!
Well, you are ahead of the game both mechanically and from a finishes perspective, which is very, very cool! And the car looks gorgeous from here...I love that color combo!

Saw that one for sale. Lymington way I think? Looked like he had put loads of work into keeping it in top condition.

Exactly same age and colour combo of my first Masser back in 2008.

Many congratulations

Yes Loz. Brought it to a couple of early Midlands meets back in the day when you had your silver one if I remember correctly.
You mean in the darker days when I disrupted things , just a little  here's much more akin to a masser interior .................much nicer place to be , glad to see your still enjoying and its still running through your veins

That's the one :)

Purchased without viewing as Lymington is a long long way for me, but trusted my gut and the seller.

Thanks for the positive comments all. I'm still buzzing but kind of nervous too. Driving it feels like I've spent an absolute fortune on her and in the back of my head, the thought of a large bill at any moment scares the .... out of me lol

Spotted some tiny amounts of rust starting on the boot lip and under the bonnet leading edge. I believe they are prone to this?

I'll get them professionally treated when I can as the paint (to my amature eye) is just so good. I think there maybe one, maybe 2 small chips on the car total.
