Code DTC P1602

I was checking my 2006 GranSport with a Foxwell NT530 multi-system scanner tool for the first time as I am preparing to install the Formula Dynamics DBW / F1 Enhancement Module. The first pass gave me a DTC P1602 on my Motronic Bosch ECU. Looked that up in the Maserati code list and it said, "Internal ECU Memory Table Errors". On the Foxwell device it said "Permanent power supply - no information available". It seems the code indicates that the battery was disconnected.

I had no other errors, so I cleared the error and then tested for codes again. The system came up clean with no codes, so I do believe that the P1602 error code just indicates that the battery had been disconnected. No worries.

So, now on to the installation of the DBW F1 unit.

Aloha,
Chip

Greetings, it's pretty straight forward even if the FD instructions are, at best, iffy.
There's a vid somewhere which wasn't much better so I wrote out my own to simplify the process.
It's only a couple of wires to cut and three to tap in to. Enjoy

Where is this list from? Is there a full code list anywhere?

Thanks. I have combed both SportsMaserati.com and MaseratiLife.com and there is a tremendous volume of information on how to do this installation on both sites. It is so helpful to have such resources! There is at least one YouTube video on this subject as well. Thanks so much to all of you who have contributed to these forums. I am about to start stripping and soldering. My biggest challenge is to try to find a suitable place to mount the new units in my 2006 GranSport. At the moment I am thinking I will put it in the glove box. One popular spot seems to be on top of the green box above the fuses, but I am concerned that the fit is too tight once the floor is put into place. Also, I plan to splice / tap in the ECM module wiring while I am at it since I might want to add the FD ECM unit at a later date.

Sorry, I don't remember. I have been combing this site, MaseratiLife.com, and anything else that came up on my searches. As I recall, this seemed to be the most authentic list that I found.
