Marios E-mailed me yesterday , all back together but they are having trouble bleeding the clutch so they are going to take off the master cylinder for a look , to see if it is blocked .
The good news is that my X pipe is on , yay !

If the piston in the master cylinder is not retracted fully, you won't be able to bleed the system. It only has to be forward by just over 1mm and fluid won't flow!

That’s true , Marios is a Maserati Guru though so I have total faith in him .

Marios has said , hopefully , she should be ready for Tuesday , fingers crossed , which as it happens is my day off , so I can go and pick her up and drive her home , all being well .
Just my luck the weather has turned to sh@t , probably be snowing up on saddleworth moor but hey ho at least I should have a nice growly soundtrack and sweet gear change to keep me warm .

Ok , just had a call from Marios , my baby is ready , going to get her on Tuesday , can’t wait , just hope the weather behaves .

So picked her up today , drove her 100+ miles home and she ran great , very pleased , no shrieking noises and a better clutch pedal along with a much nicer gear change .
Had a nice chat with Marios at Autoshield too , great bloke , what he doesn’t know about our cars isn’t worth knowing .

Result, when you have a new clutch you realise how bad the old one had got totally transforms the car.
