Hi guys

Car is booked in for new wheel bearing next week in the rear but in mean time I also have a clonk coming from the front left.

Two garages have looked at it and inspected but cannot find anything. One tightened up the undertrays as they were loose but this hasnt cured it.

Happens on front left when you drove over a pothole - sounds a metallic like clunk? Sounds like something under high load.

Both garages tried pry bars to find play but couldnt find anything?

Any ideas guys?

As i say, both

The normal issue with QP front clonks is the inner wishbone bushes. Usually the upper ones.

100% front suspension bushes. Happened on my old QP. Get them replaced and it will sort it.

Where did you get the bushing from? My 4200 makes the same noise from the rear so it may be similar but I’ll get it checked . Thanks in advance, neil

You can get them from the MD or Eurospares / Scuderia Car Parts. Superformance do pattern parts but they have been described as less durable than the OEM.
