Hi Friends

I have wanted to add a change once a year to the usual Ace meet.
This year its the lovely venue of The Classic Motor Hub in Bilbury.
http://classicmotorhub.com/

Peter (Safrane) has been instrumental in this as he has his car stored at the venue so knows it very well.

I was thinking the days itinerary would be like this....

Pub Lunch (will confirm venue) near Marlow
Then onto the main venue for dinner and drinks from 5pm which works out at £25 per head for a 3 course meal.
The venue does have parking.

After we could go to the nearby late licensed bar and hotel which is The New Inn
https://www.thenewinncoln.co.uk/
Rooms approx £90 inc breakfast

Im after numbers right now, we can always tweek it if needs be but for now this is what im proposing.....

Come on!! For those who complain about the Ace then this is your opportunity to come to something different, if not then dont complain about Ace in July haha.

We need at least 10 to make this a 'goer' as there is a minimum charge for the evening hot buffet which I will be paying for in advance.

There is the fabulous Foss Way close to the venue and it offers some great drives.

It is also a little closer to those who complain London is too far, and of course always a traffic jam.

I’ll have a ponder. There is the Supercar Runway event on the 24th.

I could be interested but need to check the calendar as it is week of daughter's and wife's birthdays and also we always have a golf weekend middle May as well.

Will check and confirm.

Could be interested but will not make a decision until I see how we get on with the virus.

Is this purely a 'lads' thing, or are ladettes welcome too? If it's the latter we could be on depending on the wretched virus ......... - we should be on our end-May planned tour of the Alps/Garda/Dolomites then but I have a suspicion this may have to be postponed for the second time, so this could be a part compensation.

Virus watch. Let's see how things pan out over the next month or so. Sounds good and I salute you both for organising it. Let's hope a force of a majeure nature doesn't bollok it all up.

If not on holiday (currently planned) and not locked down by the virus I would be interested as Classic Motor Hub has been on my "should visit" list for a while - would probably join you for Classic Motor Hub/dinner, as driving from Shropshire to Marlow and then half way back again probably doesn't make much sense.
