Cirencester Car Club Corinium Run

I'm an active member of said Motor Club (For my rallying fix), but every April we run a Scenic Tour around the Cotswolds (Officially a Touring Assembly and Economy Run).
It starts and finishes near Cirencester and covers approximately 120 miles of Cotswold roads, with stops along the way for photos, lunch etc.
http://www.cirencestercarclub.com/coriniumrun.html or look up Corinium Run on Facebook

I know the entries filled quite quickly last year as it was a round of the Historic Rally Car Club calendar.
I seem to remember the entry last year was around the £80 mark for Driver & Co-Driver, but you got a breakfast bap and a cup of tea/coffee before the start, non damaging "Rally plate" to go on the car, Roadbook etc, a 2 course meal at the end and an official photo.

I'll be getting my entry in the day the Regs come out, thought it might be nice to get a few V8's bouncing of the the Cotswold Hills.

I'm intrigued. How does a Vauxhall Nova do 14.61 mpg over 121 miles - 2018 results last but one. Even he thought he'd do 35!
But it's close to us so I'll endevour to remember and see what I can organise; looks a good outing. I can manage 3 V8s but sadly none of them Italian.

I thought the Bristol-Swindon-Cheltenham triangle group may be interested (or anyone for that matter) and have a Maserati show of force.

I could be if a few people are up for signing up. Price sounds a bit punchy for just a drive... but could be game if others are.

I've had a response this morning from the organisers.
Basically they would love to see a load of Supercars want to do it, but apparently due to popular demand from previous years a lot of narrow bumpy lanes are going to be used, so doesn't think it would be suitable.
I think I'm going to give it a miss then, maybe take my beloved up to Scotland on a road trip.
I suppose I'd better take my wife as well just to keep the peace!

Being in the heart of the Cotswolds, i can vouch that the prettiest routes and villages are off the beaten track, more suitable for nimble little sportscars. If there is demand i could plot a suitable route and guide

The Aqua Sulis tour run by Bath Motor Club is on 7th July has just opened entry list- I have done it twice now but not last year as I went to Silverstone instead. Roads were absolutely fine in my 3200. They do try to cater for pre 2000 cars but make exceptions for more modern interesting cars

Do you have anything planned this year Steve?
