I have seen Fleetwood Mac several times, but only once with Christine in the band. 2018 I think it was, such a fabulous singer and far better than Stevie Nicks (who I also love).

Easily the best of Mac. Her heritage too is outstanding with Chicken Shack listen to
I would rather go blind
The last incarnation of Mac is a parody of the original imho

You're entitled to your opinion of course, but he left 52 years ago, and they've been quite successful since. Even Rumours was 7 years after Peter Green. :)

The Cat was being ironic, a bit of a pop at the 'things ain't what they used to be' mindset. I suspect he's been spending too long with ageing relatives and needs a release. :)

Sorry. Missed that. Doh :rolleyes::rolleyes:

;) Original tends to be 'what we hear first or most of'

People swear that Genesis was a better band before Gabriel left. 8 years with Gabriel 47 with Collins
Original Fleetwood Mac: 3 years. Without Green 52 years
Pink Floyd much the same. Bands evolve.

Queen kept the same line up until Mercury's death.
The Police pretty much (I think they had 9 months with another member)

I wouldn't inherently argue that the latest line up of Fleetwood Mac were not a parody of the original, but I'm reasonably sure it wasn't the original that was being cited, rather the Rumours / Tusk / Mirage era.
