Thanks David, the images help out alot. I'll revise and repost the results here. With regard to the soft finish; do you think this can be done 'better'?
Thanks again for your input.

Hi Roland

Sorry, I thought I had replied to your post already. The feel of the finish will be very subjective. Personally, I felt the finish that you produced, which although hard, was not unpleasant but I am not used to rolling around in better cars than my old 4200. Others may disagree, and I have limited experience, but I would say the finish felt more BMW than Ford and a complete improvement on what Maserati left us with.

I had a lengthy chat with Roland on Saturday. He’s going to do some test pieces for Sportsitalia and come on board as a sponsor.

Ill report back but from our discussion he knows what he is doing and has the correct epoxy rubberised coating.

Sounds like an excellent idea

This is excellent news as I need to sort out my 360, absolutely everything is sticky, even the covers around the steering rack and the air vents!

@Bebs , I did point @StickyPlastics your way as I recalled this was one of the cosmetic things to sort out now the mechanical issues are hopefully behind you.

I was fortunate enough to see your car at Voicey's earlier in the year/end of last year (where has this year gone?).

I have sent the sticky interior parts from my 3200 AC to Roland on Saturday. Buttons, covers, vents, all of them. Will report back on this forum as soon as the parts have been returned to me.

Thank you for that, I must get in touch with Roland and try to finally sort this out. You’re absolutely right, where has this year gone indeed!
Mechanical issues are all sorted, car drives extremely well after the engine rebuild and restoration, it’s great to have it back home again. The only thing left to do is the sticky bits.

Great news, Roland already did a nice job on mine and I’m sure would benefit other owners

Hi guys! I haven't been here for a long time, but a friend of mine who bought a 3200GT from me reminded me of this forum! I now have Gransport, and I have adjusted the process of restoring buttons on Ferrari and Maserati. you can see the result in the photo))

impressive indeed... going to get mine done over the winter... rest of the car is like new and even though I replaced some buttons when I bought the car they are starting to look tired.
