Hi guys, absolutely chuffed to be able to now consider myself a Maserati owner. I picked up my new to me, 2017 Ghibli Diesel on Saturday and cannot stop popping out to look at her, driving her, any little excuse, the wife is starting to laugh but I just don't care. Very happy. Sam

Sam, welcome to the madness! It’s good to see you’ve found your way to the best Maserati forum in the country. Most on here are mad, the rest are crazy so I hope you aren’t thin skinned. Enjoy your new motor and stay around.

Thanks guys, here she is!! Loving the blue and cream leather combo. Its on 19's and debating painting the calipers and maybe going to 20's at some point but no rush. Anyone done either and things to bear in mind? Cheers

Usually, going to 20s compromises ride comfort. Calliper colours are down to the individual but I wouldn’t go to bright against that lovely blue.

Welcome Sam.
Nice colour that is. Personally, I think a car that big would sit better on 20's but as said above you'll have a firmer ride, whether you think that's good or a bad thing.

A nice choice of caliper colour would stand out nice too.

Bike brakes don't do anything for me, funnily enough. But a nice red caliper, fwhoaa! Hits the same button as a shapely ankle clad in a Louboutin!

Anyone got any recommendations for where in the North West to consider getting the calipers done properly (with the decals on etc) as I'm absolutely useless at anything like that myself and would rather the professionals do it...

Also, I have 19's currently but clearly would look better with 20's or even 21's (I'd keep the 19's for the winter probably), again, any recomendations for sensibly priced alloys?

Thanks

Give Bowker Ribble Valley a call near Preston. They used to be a Maserati main dealer a couple of years ago but still have a good network of contacts for work on Maserati's. Worth a try.

They did a good job on my 2009 QP because many of the Maserati technicians are still there. So worth a call.
