Only disconnecting the battery for 30 mins+ which clears the errors, not aware if there is another procedure?

Your car is an auto where others here are talking about cambio gearboxes so the faults could be very different. On the auto, I’d also look at the battery but also the connections to it as any movement on them will cause issues, similar to those when the earth is bad.

On the GS, perhaps clutch position sensor?

On the GT S MC, I'm working through in the following order:
  1. Battery change
  2. Transmission actuator
  3. Clutch/clutch position sensor

That's what I've concluded from this thread (hoping I've interpreted properly).

I have a similar 2013 4.7 Sport with the MC Shift, that has just started to behave like my Cerbera

I have the Christmas tree of lights (ABS, ESC, ASR, Check Suspension, Park off etc) so I've checked the battery and it was reading a credible 13.00 volts cold. I thought I would be nice so I disconnected the battery and have run the recond setting on the Ctek 5.0. After several hours I now have 13.6volts when cold, but still the same christmas tree of lights (that come on with the ignition before starting, and now the electric door and boot have stopped working (the windows drop but the doors don't open) so have to use the manual push button.

To cap it off the boot has closed and I've had to take the rear seat out to find the pull cord which was pushed underneath it.

Based on all the advice a replacement battery sound like the first step (it could be the original battery as its still the genuine Maserati one), but can't help thinking something more sinister is going on!

Will let you know how I get on

Had mine checked over today by Dale @ Prestige and they were all voltage related errors based on the codes.

Have ordered a new Bosch Series 5 so shall see how it goes...also have some good shots of the subframe treatment which I will post on here once I sort image hosting.

You can see the bushes in his Instagram story from today!

Have you driven the car since the battery re-charge and re-set? I does sometimes take a drive to clear the codes.

Also, what you're experiencing with the door locks, boot etc, is completely normal after the battery has been disconnected for any length of time. I can't remember the exact process I do, but roughly...connect battery...with the remote, lock, unlock, open door, close door lock and unlock again. Press and hold the remote boot open and it'll open after a few seconds.
Ignition on, leave it for a few minutes for all the systems to settle , then start engine. Go for a drive, and all is good.

Sounds about right.

Did you read my post above?

Have n't had chance to drive it yet, rain is shocking here. Tried the door lock unlock scenario but to no avail.

Have ordered the same battery as Conaero in post #2, although, and got it for £79!. Will give it another go on the new battery when I'm back home next weekend.

Thanks for the help:)

You lucky sod! I've been trying to get hold of Dale, as I'd like him to take a look at my car too, but he's a hard man to get hold of. New battery will arrive this week and hopefully Dale can also take a look soon, then I should know what I'm dealing with.

Thought I'd provide an update. New battery arrived, has been fitted and it has addressed the issue. I'm no longer getting any error codes and the car is now driving as it should!

Thanks for the advice guys, much appreciated.

Congrats

the door lock, windows, seats and touch door opening reset is:
  • Lock
  • Unlock
  • Press and hold the boot button till it pops
seat easy entry is:
  • Unlock
  • Open drivers door
  • Quickly press the seat fore and aft slider buttons back/forth/back/forth
  • Fold the seat back forward and let the seat cycle back and forth and wait for the beep
  • Repeat for the other front seat
  • If the seat fails to cycle you took too long from opening the door to flicking the seat slider buttons.

Hope it fixes it for you! Keep us posted.
40 odd mile run out today after the suspension refresh and battery change - all okay so far though the xenon levelling sensor needs a wiggle as it's showing an error.

SIight rattle on startup is apparently no concern either - only does it once in a blue moon and Dale reckons its not Variators for now.

Shame she's now covered in grime again, where is the weather!
