Check transmission go to dealer (HELP!)

Hi Guys, I have got the check transmission dealer light on my granturismo s mc-shift. It has come on previously intermittently and always clears overnight and drives fine again the next day this was accompanied by usually not long before by the abs light. the front right abs sensor was giving a intermittent signal so had the hub changed with sensor as reading previous posts i know the two can be related. The abs light has not come on since having the hub with sensor changed last week. I also changed the battery and have ensured the terminals are on secure and tight as reading posts online i know this can also throw the gearbox off. The clutch is at 68% last read in January so may have got worse as gets driven around 30miles once a week. Since changing the battery the light has not cleared and is still on whereas as previously it would clear overnight. whilst having the hub changed had codes read (at the time the check transmission fault was not present on dash) which gave code of P1782 - Clutch closure greater than maximum threshold . The codes may be different now with the light on? Would love to take it for a road trip asap whilst the weather is nice without the anxiety of it going into limp mode. If someone could advise and point me in the right direction to help permanently resolve this issue please it would be much appreciated.

Limp home mode can be caused by a few things. Start by looking at the screenshots. Note that procedure 1 includes quite a few ecu and can related like the speed sensors like you rightly thought of.

Take a good look here.

You could do with also reading maserati academy volume 2....but start with the robo gearbox in volume 1 in particular the trouble shooting section. I can then post up a link to volume 2 which talks about the wheel speed sensors

Im absolutely not an expert so unfortunately my help is really limited to helping you read a bit about the system and then seeing if any of it is thought provoking enough to have you work through procedure 1 or check your system oil pressure or lord help us the very difficult to access f1 oil level

you are going to need a good OBD. I personally use easymas obd with a laptop. Others here use different things. Easymas is proven safe when writing to f1 ecu. I would not trust much else but im not very experienced and have not done most of the f1 procedures

You can look at your wheel speeds and all of the F1 system. You need to know your pressure but of course also the clutch items like open and closed position

The other things in procedure 1 im not sure which obd can check them all...but the can line you can check with a multimeter
