One of those nice little niggles to get just as the weather turns cold...... my "check engine" light made an appearance for the first time on Friday evening. Was just decelerating from 70mph (cough) on the A38 and up it popped.

Engine running just fine, oil and coolant good, no signs of distress at all. Fuel cap tight, so I'm mystified as to cause. Probably an exhaust sensor? Looks like I'll be digging out my OBD2 scanner !

I've only had it on my GranTurismo a handful of times in over three years and it was always when using too much loud pedal when cold, hence the fact that I now run the car in ice mode until it is warmed up. A switch off, lock, unlock, re-start was the 3200 way of (usually) getting rid of it, at least that's what the MM official line was when I bought the car off them!

Update: The light has gone off!:numberone: Never even got the chance to plug the scanner in! Italians eh? Fickle as ever. Now, if I could just persuade Lucia (for that is what I have named her) to stop sounding sporty all the time then life will be back to normal again! :thumb1:
