Just installed mine. No previous changer and phone connected. Worked out of the box. Only had some issues to find a proper ground location. Soldered against the nit unit. Seems to work.

The NIT will be grounded through the loom. Also, there may/should have been an earthing strap from the NIT frame to a very good point.

Just fitted the Yatour- I have to say; it seems pretty flaky ! It doesnt pick up the data stream or play it as often as not..claiming "No CD " despite the phone showing BT connection present and active...!
Without the phone present it bleeps regularly- whilst using the dash switches seems somehow to operate the phone in the house to my amusement !
Oh well...time will tell if I persevere with this seemingly buggy device. Perhaps I will learn to face east, pat my stomach and rub my head when using it ?

Sorry to hear that.

If by bleeping regularly you mean a clicking type noise about once a second, I had that until I had earthed it properly by attaching one of the black connectors to the NIT casing. Maybe that will sort your other issues. Also check the blue plug is all the way in, it isn’t exactly precision engineered.

After a few days I noticed an annoying pulse tick sound. The sound sounds exactly each second and runs parallel to the display seconds counter (must be correlated)
Very annoying. Any idea? It's only when the yatour is active. With phone or without phone connected doesn't matter. No other noise at all.

Well yes, but the music stops as well.
I am sure it's the yatour. Maybe a ground issue, but I doubt it to be honest.

I misread your comment re phone/ no phone....
I simply joined the two earths supplied on the Yatour. The NIT has a hefty ground cable of its own...

You need to ground the Yatour to the NIT to stop the clicking. I had exactly the same problem.

Loudlink is fine, apart from it never auto-pairing, that's well annoying......
Mine autopairs OK, but I can't get the SD card to play if it is bigger than 4GB. It's not really a problem as I either use Spotify or internet radio. If coverage is poor, I just play the music stored on my phone.

Joining is a pain...mostly because its very unpredictable..
So far I think I have worked out that it takes a visit to settings in the phone, disconnect from the bluetooth and then reconnect ( ignoring that the screen indicates the connection is active)) So not really joining so much as the data stream gets played through the phone speaker...not the NIT.
