Just seen he has died just before the first F1 race in Australia, he has been part of F1 as long as i can remember - RIP

I watched the team and driver intros last night and there was no mention of the sad news then. It will certainly cast a cloud this weekend, and I'm sure there will be a minute's silence on race day.

Wow, that's sad news. A big part of the sport, and as others have said, someone who has been involved with F1 as long as I can remember

Very Sad indeed.
I'm currently working with a former Williams F1 mechanic and boy he has some stories to tell.

Sad news. Seems as though they haven't really got any succession plans in place either... Understandable as it was sudden but surely at that stage in someone's career you would start planning for the next generation to emerge
