Hmmm think it looks good on the silver car...breaks up the colour quite well and personally think silver has dated rather quickly and these lift it up.

Not sure if relective properties, or lack of them, would affect the light output..??

I think Silver is one of the best finishes, the lines of the car are shown off to there best, the light really flows around the car in silver, it definitely has more presence.

Has anyone tried to open the headlamps? Not that Im interested of this but I want to give the inside a proper clean.

I think I like those.....Think it would suit most colour car to be honest but the more racey colours more.......

Loz has split the lights a couple of times. They need to be cut open with a micro cutter (dremel type) and then re glued

It seems to me that there could be a gap in the market for someone willing & able to offer a headlight unit exchange / overhaul service. You could take a standard unit, open it up, swap out the old shell for the new carbon fibre one and carry out a Xenon bulb upgrade, reassemble et voila.

I'm not volunteering sadly, I really am all fingers and thumbs, but would certainly be interested if someone knows someone. It would certainly put an end to the problems of the vinyl lifting inside the units which some of us have suffered from.
