CAR AUCTIONS

Just been watching it for the last hour that XK8 convertible from what you could see looked nice.
same. It was not on my list as I am "not old enough" for a Jag. Great car even if it lasted one summer.
I would have bought the SLK230 to replace my MX-5 mk2 if I had started the caliber work earlier. Getting quite crusty on my 1999 model.

So, the sensible mileage, black, 2006 facelift 4200 at SWVA today.
It bid to only £6500.
Not sure yet whether that has been accepted or not. But that's a very cheap car for someone if it has.
Now on eBay

I've been driving Jags since I passed my test as my parents always had one and so I've had one myself on numerous occasions.
I always say I'm too young for a Mercedes Benz and I'm 63 :)

Now on eBay

I see the sale price was actually £6,950, plus 10% fees (plus the Vat on the fees). So let's call it £7,800.

So, add on £10K and shove it on EBay! (And as a private seller, not a trader.)

Confused, so is this a non UK car originally? Differences over an LE Spec late Gransport? Can't see any?

I see a few higher priced GS have been listed lately, a few in the 30's etc

There was not a GranSport specification called "Contemporary Classic" here in the UK. The later full-spec cars were just called the LE spec, which is what this car appears to be.

Reads like a trim level rather than any limited edition as all those items were options...a way if shifting the model before it ended production.

Also the dials in the actual car are not the light blue ones on the 'special edition'

Car didn’t sell at auction. Reserve price was at 8500 plus fee… offers of 8500 takes it home…
Strange. It’s listed as “Sold” on the SWVA website (and the unsold cars show as “Not Sold”).
But that could just be an error in the listing.

The price of the two ‘barnfind’ Ferraris at ACA blows my mind. But not as much as this:

Ferraris I can understand, were in good condition and crazy low mileage, try and find another pair like that, the Rangie is crazy money, same buyer bought all 3
