V8 Vantage and the proper Vanquish have aged better than the DB9 Coupé, convertibles are better. The sun visors always remind me of a mid 70s BL car for some reason.
Yes, I still love the look of vantage.

Interiors are nothing special that's for sure.....

....hmm I appear to be talking myself out of one

I'm sure if you found the 'right' one, you'd still fall in love.

My opinion is you want a nice place to be sat rather than a nice car to drive , you're never going to sit in a nicer car than a Bentley.

The guy i know moved heaven and earth to work out a way of keeping it , the "take it for the weekend sir" is definitely a good sales pitch.

He was gutted for days when he gave it back , especially when he drove past it on the way to work for a week

Well the MC Shift can be both innit. Although I'd need to budget for some upgrades....

So the other DB9 was much nicer.
Sadly couldn't take it for a proper spanking as they'd let the battery go flat so none of the aids nor the adaptations were working.
Better sound, better throttle, better brakes, better paint. More miles, but fewer pounds.

Mrs C performed sterling service is pointing out some the practical issues. Of which there are many so I think we need to find a Continental for her to look at.

I read that as Mrs C wants a Bentley :D what did you call it "confirmation bias where we only look for evidence that supports our belief" (that we need a Bentley)

It would absolutely, be confirmation bias, if she'd seen one :D
Trying to work out a day trip next week to go see one.

Although from the practicality stakes, I suspect cough GT will be winning........

Now then, another stonking Merc.
Lovely.
The problem with mercedes and bmw is for every tarmac shredding 500bhp monster there are 1000 lookalikes with the badges and a diesel engine

They might be fast and comfortable but they're not exclusive , most people wouldn't know the difference between the models

Point taken, however car buffs will know. Never seen many CL’s around - that would be a very comfortable place to be- with some character and grunt.

The great thing about the CL is you can park in a car park and no one will notice it until you start the engine! Try parking a Bentley, Aston or Maserati in a car park and be incognito.
