Have you sold the Mustang? I must have missed that. :(

C

I thought long and hard about it but couldn't justify keeping it , the pcp was up next august ,I had intended to keep it but i barely drove it november to march , then lockdown , france holiday cancelled , thought we'd go september , no chance , we're now heading into winter with who knows what's coming

I got the chance to walk away with cash so took it , sold it to a dealer who had it less than a week before selling it on.

Gutted about it but paying a pcp for a car I can't drive didn't make any sense, we had 4 great holidays in it which is why i got it

I got it at a very good price on 0% finance , i had a mustang for 2 years for the price of a mid range SUV

I'm looking for a

"If this van's rocking don't bother knocking" sticker for the back :D

Last time I went away in a caravan was 1985 , borrowed from a neighbour, it was **** , sexless holiday because she said people would see it rocking about plus the ******* thing wouldnt go in a straight line at anything over 50mph so it took hours to get anywhere.

Feck that is some upgrade, love the RS Avants but hear lots of horror stories about maintenance, access is difficult and engine out is not unusual
Timing chains for sure and engine out as they are at the bulkhead end did some in NZ.

Bugger about the DB9, Chris. That one do sound like a bit of a dog, though. As well we all know from looking at Masers, even the best cars can get rough as guts if they're neglected.

This was surprising as FAMSH and very limited milage. Got another one lined up this pm to confirm or deny.

I used to love the db9, but they've not aged that well. Starting to look a bit dated I reckon.
I was parked next to one in my GT-Sport at top gear and it really did show how dated they were in comparison. Still lovely motors though.

Interiors are nothing special that's for sure.....

....hmm I appear to be talking myself out of one

V8 Vantage and the proper Vanquish have aged better than the DB9 Coupé, convertibles are better. The sun visors always remind me of a mid 70s BL car for some reason.

Yeah, Vanquish is too spendy, and if I get another V8 it's dollars to dougnuts it'll have a Maserati badge on it. The DB9 for me was all about, well the badge a little bit, but the V12.
