Cam Caps

Decided to have the cam caps modified before any rattles start to occur...it now reached 47k with no problems, thinking of replacing solenoids while everything is apart
as there not to expensive. The one's in it are still fine, would you still replace?
Cam covers have clean up really well....looking forward to it going back together knowing I may have dodged a bigger problem do the line

Have you repainted the cam covers or just cleaned them ?

I was pleased to see how good they came up, just washed will brake cleaner to remove the oil and paint panel wipe to finish
there are a couple of chip on then which i'll just brush touch in

Great to know- they look as good as new, well done

My advice, solenoid valves new or old, remove the stickers. They have a habit of coming adrift and going through the oil system.

AKA a really bad day.
