Thanks for the mention. It is in just as good a condition as the one we sold two weeks ago. Last owner had it 8 years, always garaged, serviced over and above the required intervals too. Drives incredibly well, I do love a good QP GTS.

8 years. Must have been hard to let that go after so long, no matter what was replacing it.

Do you reckon people are trading up to a QP6 Trofeo?
As nice as the new car is I’d still go for a QPV.2 GTS.

That's one **** of a trade up.....It will cost what another 100k over a QPV GTS.......I'm with you though the QPV 4.7 GTS is still the one I would have......

9 Days.

If I get it right (or end up being the closest), do I get my pick of a car from Dicky's stock list?? :D
That would be some competition prize with what we have currently in stock ;)

Last car sold within an hour subject to being happy when he collected a few days later. This one is taking forever, I listed it 36 hours ago and still not blooming sold!!

Trust me dicky, if my wife wasn’t so tight fisted I’d have driven up and been waiting for you to open the doors the very next day!

Haha, sorry to hear that your wife has prevented you buying it. Wives usually encourage QP purchases.

Have you noticed that the latest QP GTS has now dipped under 30k so cheaper than the 4.7 ones for sale currently. Still prefer the 4.7 though just seems far more special than the newer one even though they are quicker.

Thing is though, the Germans will always have something more powerful or tuneable so if it’s pure speed you’re after, a Maserati isn’t the one to go for anyway. The fact the QP6 is faster than the QP5 means absolutely nothing to me; it’s the noise and naturally aspirated V8. The fact you have to keep the latter on the boil to get the best out of it appeals to my inner hooligan. It’s why I’ve a soft spot for the 4.3 Vantage over the 4.7. The latter is a better all round car, but the fact you have to spank the former gives it an unmistakeable character.
Not everyone will see the merit in it. It’s why I like big cars with small engines and little cars with big engines...

I noticed that too Andy... seen a couple of the newer QP6 GT Ss in the sub 30k category. Outstanding value don’t get me wrong, but of course very much with you on your choice of which to have!!

For me if you want a daily drive QP the new one would suit but if you want a special car to make you smile have yours......

You're right I'd be tempted to have one as a daily... (and the 3.0S QP6's are sub £25k too, and the newer facelift QP's in GranSport form are dropping in price also) but I'd probably have a Ghibli S on account of it's smaller proportions.

Golden rule; better to ask for forgiveness than permission!

That’s right.
I bought a Ducati once while my wife was away for a few days with work. Have a mate who bought an R8 without asking his wife, just turned up in it. Not loaded or anything, just a normal job, traded a 5k E class. Lost all his brownie points for that move, and all control of the bank account!

But darling, it's just an Audi...!

I can imagine how that conversation went :)
