The engines are as different as the cars.
QP VI GTS, 0-60, approx 4.5 sec.
Cali T, 0-60, approx 3.5 sec.
No surprise really, even with the Maser having more power.
I’d happily find a space in my garage for either/both.

The QP comes with 530hp and 710nm torque. Its funny because at the ferrari/maserati dealership near me they offer the Novitec basic ecu tune and its warrantied which is great. You get 605hp and 820nm torque. View attachment 60671
Would love it if they would do that on the T! I am tempted by a HS pack one. Much better sounding and handling etc - best of both worlds

What dealership is that? I might ask them that would make a big difference
So this is the full file I was sent. I never went ahead but this is in Switzerland and they are partnered with some dealers. I am thinking about trying it early jan next year after its service at ferrari/maserati.

Can you please send me a copy of the vehicle ID (Fahrzeugausweis)?

For the tune we have ferrari/maserati delaers in Switzerland.

Kind regards

Walter

Only 600 miles drive from London to Zurich lol . I was born in the UK & I am a British citizen, but lived most my life in Melb's Australia. I then came on a B Visa to Switzerland. I've only been here 8 months.

Not in the normal spec, no. You are quite right. But I meant in the Novitec spec as mentioned earlier in the thread. But even with the Novitec enhancement, the Ferrari is still faster.

I am not sure what the basic tune QP6 Novitec numbers are for 1/8th mile 1/4 mile etc. It does show 0-100 (0-62mph) down to 4.4 secs. Its probably some improvement but slower than the Ferrari Ewan. You probably have to go stage 2 or 3 to get faster numbers. In stock form the QP6 GTS is faster overall than a Stradalehttps://fastestlaps.com/comparisons/ig3og5lrz201, so certainly a good base car to add some power. But what maserati did well was the exhaust which if you heard the video above is really good for a twin turbo v8.

FF1078 The Ferrari needs a after market exhaust because this stock exhaust is basically like 0:33 transmission noise with a hint of v8 in rare occasions in the video.

The QP VI GTS sounds great, as does the Cali T. But the QP V GTS sounds better, as does the N/A Cali. There’s no escaping the fact that the turbo engines don’t sound as good as their earlier N/A counterparts. It’s a shame, but that’s “progress”.

Morning all
I don't suppose anyone knows how to get more noise from the Ferrari turbo engine do they?
I've looked online and I think £4500 for a couple of rear boxes is a bit OTT
Can and X pipe be fitted?
Thanks in advance
I read this thread and think that cars are a terrible, terrible, tormenting, affliction......without cure.
Doesn’t seem to matter at what stage on the car ladder an individual is at......everyone wants more.
The perfect car has yet to be built........

Was at Silverstone for the Passione Ferrari event and there were a few Cali T on the track... by far the quietest cars of all. (But that could have had something to do with the profile of their respective drivers lol)
